Overview
CommerceV3 ("CV3," "we," "us") operates the website at commercev3.com as a marketing site for our ecommerce growth services. We collect personal data only when you give it to us through a form on this site — there are no hidden trackers, no fingerprinting scripts, and no third-party advertising pixels.
This policy explains in plain language what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it. If something is unclear, email sales@commercev3.com and a real person on our team will respond.
What we collect
We only collect information you actively submit. The forms on this site collect different fields depending on what you're asking for:
- Newsletter signup — your email address only.
- Book a strategy call — name, work email, company, monthly revenue range, and the message you send with your request.
- Free GEO Score tool · AI visibility check · GEO audit — your brand name or domain, work email, and any context you optionally provide.
- Partner sign-up — name, work email, agency name, and the services you want to partner on.
- Webinar registration — name, work email, and the webinar you're registering for.
We do not collect government IDs, payment card numbers, health data, or any other special-category information through this website. Paid engagements are billed through a separate contracts process that is governed by its own agreement, not by this policy.
What we receive automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and uptime monitoring: IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp, and the URL requested. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted automatically. We do not link server logs to form-submitted data.
How we use it
The information you submit is used to:
- Reply to your specific request (send the audit report, confirm your call, deliver the webinar link, etc.).
- Send you the newsletter you signed up for, until you unsubscribe.
- Keep a record of our conversation so we can pick up where we left off if you reach out again.
- Improve our services in aggregate — for example, knowing which audit findings come up most often helps us prioritize product roadmap.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone. We do not use your data for cross-site behavioral advertising.
Cookies & tracking
This site sets only essential cookies — the kind required for the site to function (session continuity, form CSRF protection, remembering whether you've closed a modal). We do not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Segment, or any equivalent analytics/marketing SDK on the front end.
If we add analytics in the future, we will update this section before doing so and disclose every tracker by name. Your browser's standard cookie-management controls (or any tracking-protection extension) will continue to work normally — we don't do anything exotic to evade them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have one or more of the following rights over your personal data. We honor them globally regardless of jurisdiction:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data entirely (subject to any legal-retention obligations we may have for tax or compliance purposes).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the footer of every email, or by emailing us.
- Complain to a regulator — if you're in the EU/UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority. We'd rather you talk to us first so we can fix the underlying issue.
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@commercev3.com from the address you originally submitted (or include enough detail for us to verify it's you). We respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
This is a B2B site aimed at ecommerce operators. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we discover that we've received such data, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes (anything that meaningfully expands what we collect or how we share data) will be flagged in the next newsletter and on the homepage banner for at least 14 days before taking effect.
